Microsoft is removing the boundaries set by screens with their new concept, the IllumiRoom. The IllumiRoom immerses gamers in an augmented reality environment by using an Xbox Kinect and projector.
The IllumiRoom extends gameplay out into a gamer’s immediate environment and distorts its surroundings making gameplay truly unique.
There is a good possibility that the IllumiRoom will find its way onto the next generation of Xbox 720 consoles as an add-on.
